Wellbeing Through Nature Workshop 29th March- Spring Nature Walk & Art
Wendy will lead this workshop in the beautiful setting of Wootton Wawen, Henley In Arden, at the superb venue The View@Hill Farm Marina. Aside from her Wellbeing Practice, she is an experienced walker and group leader, UK and abroad, sometimes partnering up with her husband at Experience Nature Tours . This workshop will touch upon the benefits of Ecotherapy…getting out into green spaces & nature to firstly enjoy 🙂 and to reduce stress, anxiety and improve overall wellbeing. You will be sure to arrive back at base feeling relaxed, energised and ready for an afternoon of transferring what you’ve seen, experienced or collected into art. We will have a break in between- a hot drinks voucher is included and you may want to sample the delights of the onsite cafe too. We will then join Liz, our local artist who will guide us through this relaxed and enjoyable indoor workshop whatever your abilities or experience to work with a choice of three mediums i.e. collage/drawing/painting. Finishing around 2.45pm.
Liz has a great fascination for wildlife and nature, in particular birds and enjoys using different mediums to capture the essence and spirit of a subject. She uses collage/drawing and painting in her work and feels art can deepen a respect and connection with the subject matter especially nature.
